OK, next part in file sharing rants. Will this never end? I doubt it...
Anyway, something that I've been noticing is that people have this stupid tendency to complete rename their own stuff. Not like simply taking out a band name or abriviating it. I mena, ok, theres this one web site that i've been grabbing a TON of TMBG's mp3s off of, and on WinMX, I end up finding the SAME file, only someone's given it a new name, or shorted something, or taken out a date and just made it "live" or some other stupid thing like that. Why do people DO THIS?! What purpose is it serving? It's not like someone's gonna get all disoriented because they see two different live songs with different dates on them or something.
Something even dumber is when people dont' fill out the ID3 tags. Is it really that hard to do that? Oh sure, someone might say "Well i can't do that." and to that I say "Shut the hell up moron." It's not like you need some special program to do that, you can do it in Winamp of all things. That's another thing that gets me though. Why do people have the need to make a sepcific program to edit ID3 tags when you can just do it in Winamp, and probably other MP3 players? Are peopl this afraid of a computer program to jus tnot bother looking around the thing, or are they that brain dead not to look around it?
I'm going with brain dead.
