So I'v edecided to remove Windows 95 and put Windows 3.11/DOS 6.2 back on my other computer. What a fun experican cethis is turning out to be.
Having never done anything like this, I ask how to go about this on a message baord. OK, so I find out that I should just reformat and do a clean install. Fine, only poblme is, I've never done that before. Ugh. So now, I have to move about 95 meg of stuff off that comp on to this one, since i had no way of getting it off of there in first place. So now I'm transfering 95 meg of crap over a 14.4 modem, in approxamatly 10 meg chunks. Not to mention the fact that the damn fan on the thing is ready to give out or HAS given out, so I have to shut down that comp completely to let it rest, then pull the stuff I moved to an open web server to this comp, then delete that stuff, then wait a bitmore, then replug in the other comp, re hook up the phone line, hope like hell no one decides to call, and repeat the process. And I'm only at about 17 meg done. GAH.
Well, hopefully this is gonen work once I'm done, and then I'll have a machine for a ton of my older games, so thats good. And it'll mean the return of Rattler Race and Rodent's Revenge and Ski Free and Lifegen and some other stuff. Yay.
I hate computers.
